For my concept board, I wanted to highlight things that I can do that make me a better person, along with keeping myself happy/entertained during the quarantine. Several of my pictures are of working out and running, and I think of these things as the most important things for me to do during quarantine, because if I get lazy or lose motivation, then I will start to fall out of shape which will affect me in the future. I won’t be good in cross country next fall, and I’ll have a hard time resuming training because of this. The same goes with the strength work, which is essential to keep up so that I can run with more power and prevent injury from running.
I also put some hobbies that I want to focus on because they’re important for me to keep up with. Keeping up with friends is big because it’s easy to let everything go since I can’t really do anything fun with them, but it’s also important for my own happiness that I maintain contact with the outside world and don’t get depressed. I also want to use this opportunity to get closer with my family since I don’t usually see them anymore. I also want to do things that I think are fun like cook and watch interesting things. I’m currently watching the tiger king doc on netflix which is really good, and also I listen to a lot of Joe Rogan podcasts. I love his podcasts because he has a ton of diverse guests on there that often have something you can learn from.
