Inspiration Week 2 February 21, 2020 by Jabril Mohamed Leave a Comment For this week’s inspiration post, I wanted to incorporate some of my hobbies with the things I’m passionate about. One of my favorite places to go on campus is the 7th Street Studio. With the many forms of art you can experiment with, I figured it would be a great space to think and be creative. Whenever I sketch, draw or paint I was start off just doodling because it’ll help me get my initial thoughts out. My goal was to make a piece that showcases the things I’m passionate about. When thinking about what I’m passionate about, I started to write things down that I think about on a daily basis and what I couldn’t live without on campus. Things that came to mind were my family, music, culture, my faith, and the people who have made my Bucknell experience meaningful. From that point I wanted to get specific so I could envision things to put on my canvas. It felt natural as I started painting things and eventually the piece had additions to it that I didn’t know I wanted to include. After reflecting on the piece I knew that it was a sentiment to all the good things I have in life.
